Car rental is based on a rent a car contract whose signatories are the car rental service provider and the customer. Both signatories have rights and obligations specified in this contract that we will present in the following.
Legislation regarding the renting of cars has some similar regulations worldwide and different in other legislative regulations of the countries on which the rent a car company is registered. Any deviation from these terms require written approval of the supplier. The person renting the car has the obligation not to rent the car in turn to others.
First, we present a number of terms that you will meet in the lease with their explanation.
"You", "User" or "client" means the driver paying the rent service.
"Vehicle" means a passenger car or utility car rented for personal use.
"Traveling abroad" Previously not be permitted to the rented vehicle to be driven outside the country's borders, but with the possibility to be driven with the written consent of the provider.
Damage "means any injury to the vehicle, including damage claims related to mirrors, taillights or damages for car leather.
You will be asked personal data and especially data regarding when you obtained the driver’s license, and the categories you've got. Some rent a car companies are interested in the so called road record to check if a client has caused many lauded serious problems, making it ineligible to receive car rental service.
Every driver must necessarily hold that license category required to comply with class that the rented car rquires. Minimum age for renting a car is in Romania for 21 years, and the applicant must hold a driving license for at least 12 months. Be aware that the supplier will be require in original the driving license, not accepting copies, even if they are legalized or license if whose data usage has expired. To speed up the rent, some rent a car companies will require a valid credit card, whose details will be taken when setting the lease. Supplier is required to give to the client client machine motor insurances up to date, both RCA and CASCO. Ensuring applies only to the driver who has been offered for rental the car. If the car to be rented will be driven by other drivers, they must be alongside with signatory contractor, in turn presenting their valid driving license that meets the specifications listed above.
The user is required to give the rented car back to the provider at the date and time specified in the contract. A rental agreement normally lasts up to 30 days. A longer lease will require signing a long term contract with specific mentions.
